In the modern world today, there are high chances we come in contact with toxic pollution everywhere we go, For example, the food we eat, the air we breath and even the things we touched.
It’s just almost impossible to stay away from all these toxins. Really? It doesn’t matter where you go, you are most definitely will be in contact with pollution and/or toxic.
Further more, We see processed food, soda pops all filled and packed in the supermarket shelf. It’s hard to not grab one thing or two while you shopping at a supermarket. Those processed food contain chemicals such as preservatives, artificial colors, and artificial flavorings….
Because of these constant pollution, people we see have many allergies more than ever. All these artificial or toxic if not killing us now, it’s killing us slowly in the long run. Although, the good news is that our body does have detoxification systems to detox itself. The bad news is, we might expose to environmental toxins or skimping on nutrients that our detoxification system is just simply blocked.
So now, how do we get ripped off these toxin? If we can’t avoid them fast enough, one of my favorite way to do it is by drinking green tea!
So, Dose Green Tea Detox?
Green tea is loaded with antioxidants and nutrients that gives powerful effects on our body.
An analysis of published studies in 2011 said that consuming green tea was link to significant but modest reductions in total and LDL or bad cholesterol.
Green tea has about 30% polyphenols by weight, it also includes large amounts of a catechin called EGCG. Catechin plays a big factor when it comes to detox by our liver. It act as an enzyme to help us get ripped of toxins in our liver. Making sure our liver functions the way it should be and not to be overload or block by toxins.
How to make sure the Green Tea Detox is efficient?
Studies shows, two cups of green tea a day proabably won’t make much difference. 6~8 cups (150ml per cup) daily green tea drinks will be efficient enough to get ripped of toxin faster. Let’s try to make drinking regular green tea as a habit first. here is the plan:
Green Tea Detox Daily Plan
After having your breakfast and coffee in the morning, we can drink a cup or two before afternoon arrived. During lunch time, I would subsitute my lunch box soda with a big cup of green tea, so it can benifit me not only the detoxification but also help me stay energatic, block fat and loose some fat at the same time. At around 2:30pm, I will have another cup during work and have two more cup before 4:00pm.
I will not advice you to drink green tea after 4:00pm, as you know, green tea does contain coffine, and it might just had enough to make you stay away from your beautiful sleep all night.
How To Pick Good Quality Of Green Tea
When it comes to green tea selection, quality is the main key! Generally, we should pick the one that’s roll up with a whole leaf of green tea leaf. But since roll up green tea leafs can be expensive and harder to find, we can move to our second choice — Green Tea in tea bags that contains great amount of shreded green tea leaf might just do the job. It is very important to keep in mind, do not drink overnight tea, it’s bad for your health.
How soon can I see result?
If you keep this daily plan for 4 weeks, your body should feel not as tired, and you will notice the difference dromatically after about 3 weeks into green tea detoxification. Happy Drinking, stay active and Young!
